電影《白蛇傳 (粵劇) 》首映 Legend of The White Snake (Cantonese Opera) - Premiere
由佛山粵劇傳習所(佛山粵劇院) 出品，粵劇電影《白蛇傳》部份場景以實景拍攝，結合傳統粵劇與現代電影的元素，訴說千年蛇妖白素貞與許仙的愛情故事。主創團隊陣容鼎盛，佛山粵劇院院長、國家一級演員兼中國戲劇梅花獎得主李淑勤與香港著名粵劇演員羅家英分別飾白素貞及許仙，並由國家一級導演尹大為執導。影片於「第二屆香港紫荊花國際電影節」獲最佳電影及最佳美術等多項提名，李淑勤憑出色演技榮獲最佳女主角，羅家英更獲頒終身成就獎。
Produced by Foshan Cantonese Opera Troupe, Cantonese Opera Film The Legend of The White Snake uses location shooting for some scenes and blends traditional Cantonese Opera with modern cinematic elements, telling the love story between the thousand-year-old snake demon Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian. The film boasts an impressive production line-up, featuring Li Shuqin, the director of Foshan Cantonese Opera Troupe, a national first-class actor and a winner of the China Theatre Plum Blossom Award, who performed as Bai Suzhen. Meanwhile, the renowned Hong Kong Cantonese Opera actor Law Ka-ying plays Xu Xian, under the direction of the national first-class director, Yin Dawei. This film received multiple nominations at the 2nd Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival, including Best Film and Best Art Direction. Li Shuqin won Best Actress Award while Law Ka-ying received Lifetime Achievement Award.

《鍾無艷》與《霸王別姬》"Farewell My Concubine" and "Zhong Wuyan"
《霸王別姬》是以京劇梅蘭芳大師的經典名劇為基礎，改編成一齣以霸王為中心人物的版本，而《鍾無艷》則是個花旦「開臉」演出的戲，兼具南派的古老排場「搜宮」和北派的「打出手」的功架，同台搬演一悲一喜、風格各異的戲，讓一群中層和新秀演員熟習以「生、旦、淨、丑」各個行當，展現南北表演藝術的「唱、做、唸、打」。
"Farewell My Concubine" is based on the classic Beijing Opera masterpiece by Mei Lanfang, adapted into a version centered on the King of Chu. "Zhong Wuyan" is a play performed by a female lead, combining the ancient stage setting of the Southern School, "Searching the Palace," with the fighting skills of the Northern School. The two plays, one tragic and one comedic, with different styles, were performed on the same stage, allowing a group of mid-level and new actors to become familiar with the various roles of "male lead, female lead, painted face, and clown," showcasing the "singing, acting, recitation, and fighting" of the performing arts from both the North and South.

《夢・幻・大劈棺》Realm of Trance : Tian Hacks the Coffin
「莊周試妻」的故事一直廣泛地在中國各地的劇種上演，《夢•幻•大劈棺》與京劇理念最為相近，是以田氏為中心，由莊周、楚王孫、寡婦和老、小兩蝴蝶引發她的「夢」和「幻」，透過〈毀扇〉、〈弔奠〉、〈說親〉、〈驚變〉、〈劈棺〉呈現。充份利用小劇場的特色，以「生、旦、丑」的行當，展現戲曲表演藝術的「唱、做、唸、打」。三場演出的結局完全不同，除早已為芸芸劇種版本所用、充滿哀傷無奈的「死別篇」和「生離篇」，還嘗試以現代人的想法，破格地為田氏譜寫一個「逍遙篇」——莊周對試妻深感悔恨，放棄真身，以楚王孫的身份與妻再續前緣。讓觀眾帶著歡快的心情走出劇場。
Philosopher Chuang-tzu testing his wife has been a popular story for the operatic performances throughout China. This rendition is most similar to the Peking Opera interpretation, with the wife, Tian, as the protagonist, telling her experience through five scenes. Utilising the smaller theatre, the tale is told through the three types of character with the four key performance techniques. The three performances offer different endings. Along with the iconic tragic versions, this presentation also offers a more delightful finale, in which Chuang-tzu regrets testing his wife and reconciles with her in his transformed identity.

《斬二王》是粵劇傳統「大排場十八本」之一，它是行當齊全、文武兼備、故事性強的全劇，還薈萃多個古老排場，其中「斬二王」排場內的鏟椅、上高枱等高難度舞台功架，最為吸睛。故此，本計劃把全劇壓縮，刪減較為深奧的唱段，集中呈現「排場」的精萃，分〈兄弟結拜〉、〈醉斬二王〉和〈困城雪恨〉三場戲，展示多個包含大量表演身段的「排場」，配合「舞台官話」（中州韻）唱唸，以最簡約「一桌兩椅」的舞美格局，將「源於生活、高於生活」的獨特虛擬表演，讓觀眾主要從視覺體會中國戲曲最獨特的一面。
“Execution of the Duke’s Second Brother” is a classic from the “Eighteen Plays of Cantonese Opera”. The play consists characters from all class and a dramatic storyline. It also contained classic Cantonese Opera sequences (Paichang) of great grandeur. In this piece, there are classic sequences like “Chair Stand”, “Stance on high platform” and many others. The sequences are definitely eye catching. We have reduced the difficult lines and focus more on the sequences. The play is separated into “Sworn Brothers”, “Drunk Execution of the Duke” and “Lamenting of the Besieged”. Each part showcases the body languages of the traditional sequences. Whilst speaking the ancient dialect, the play is decorated solely with the traditional one table two chairs. We strive to bring back the purest performing styles of Chinese Opera (Xiqu). To bring the Mei Lanfang performance system back to our audience. We hope to bring our audience into a refined world of Chinese Opera (Xiqu).

南北承傳展新篇 Inheritors' New Pieces for Xiqu of N & S
這一台以『南北承傳展新篇』為題的演出，能夠讓阮兆輝教授和劉洵老師將粵劇和京劇的兩齣「老戲」 ——《山東響馬》和《戰馬超》傳授給年青一輩的演員，不單是表演上的傳承，更是由兩位前輩指導劍麟和吳立熙，分別將劇本撰寫和整理改編，譜出「新編」對後學大有裨益，亦屬一項挑戰，同時也為觀眾增添一份新鮮感。
This is an inheritance of two classic pieces from Cantonese and Peking opera - "The Bandit's Legend" & "Ma Chao's Fight" by Prof Yuen Siu-fai and Master Liu Xun. The youngsters, Kim Lun and Ng Lap-hei are the beneficiary, while the adaption is challenging!

『粵劇花臉戲展演』由《霸王別姬》與《鍾馗嫁妹》組成，主人翁——鍾馗、項羽，皆是家喻戶曉的人物，故事廣為人知，充份體驗到粵劇主流「鴛鴦蝴蝶派」生旦戲以外的奧妙。
Composed of "Farewell My Concubine" and "Zhong Kui Arranges A Marriage". The protagonists, Zhong Kui and Xiang Yu, are household names with well-known stories. The audience would experience the secret beyond the mainstream “Romance” of Shang (Male) and Dan (Female) roles in Cantonese opera.

“Arte of Xiqu” was established on March 13, 2020 to "study the performing arts of Chinese opera and promote to the public in all aspects". On June 26 of the same year, a registration certificate was received from the Societies Office of the Hong Kong Police under the Societies Ordinance (Cap. 151), Laws of Hong Kong.

- To research Xiqu arts and promote to the public in a comprehensive manner.

- To assist Xiqu professionals or groups in providing performance opportunities to showcase their professional artistic talents, and to organise trainings, lectures and other platforms for the inheritance of the art.
- To establish and manage artists' database, including photos, audio and video, and documents, to preserve and maintain artistic materials for research and teaching purposes of relevant social institutions and individuals.
- To organise and participate in Xiqu arts exchange, performance and educational activities held outside Hong Kong.
- To promote, organise and invite Xiqu professionals outside Hong Kong for exchange and cooperation.
